Dear Readers,

Are you looking for a guide to help you journey toward understanding what God is calling you to in this season or the one ahead?

Are you looking for a study to work through with a small group, friend,  mentor or on your own?
(Lesson by lesson small group guide included in the back of the book.)

Go & See might be exactly what you need right now if you are considering a change in job, career,  address or are facing an inevitable transition from one way of life to another.

I wrote this book for the high school senior, the college graduate, the stay-at-home mom gearing up to launch her kids, the middle-aged man or woman considering that what's next might be different than what's been, the empty-nesters and those soon to be retired.

If you know that a new season is just around the bend, or you hope that one is coming, then pick up this study and let it guide you to see all that you have been given so that you can invest all that you have in the relationships and community God has you set in or heading to.

My prayer is that the interactive activities and reflection prompts will be to you a gift that you open and utilize to go and be a gift to others. I strongly recommend you don't travel through this book alone, but find at least one other person to meet up with regularly to share the journey with.

God has set each of us on earth at this time and in our places because he has a mission and purpose etched into our days. Go seek to understand it. He will be so delighted you did!

Enjoy the journey,
Jaclyn M. Loween

About the Book
Deep in all of us there is a desire to be known, useful, and able to impact the world around us. Yet, many of us continue to live day-to-day, unable to actualize the purpose and visions tucked into our hearts and minds, bringing about feelings of doubt, loneliness and insignificance. What is holding many of us back when we’ve been given such a unique and proposed design from God?

We struggle to take the time to go and see what gifts we have, invest time into understanding what we are supposed to do with what we have, or lack the tools to make a plan to invest what we have been given right where we are. The purpose of this book is to provide tools to Christians to guide them to a better understanding of the importance of their personal history, their natural and spiritual gifts, and the necessity to invest in the lives of people around them in ways that align with who they are and what they have experienced.  The instructions and tools are rooted in Biblical teachings, best practices of teaching and learning, and current research on personalities, spiritual gifts, and our human need for relationship and community.

Keynote
Go & See propels you toward self-awareness, spiritual growth, and action. With encouragement, inspiration and instruction you will come to see why and how you can actualize using your unique design to fulfill your God-given purposes.

Her family and friends know her as, Jaci. She is the wife of a pastor, a mom of four, writing and communications education instructor, a visionary and an avid runner. As a firm believer in the power and effectiveness of the body of Christ united together to live out the Great Commission, she holds fast to this verse, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19).  Of equal importance to her are these words, "...let us run with endurance the race that is set before us" (Hebrews 12:1).

Her motto: We are stronger, happier, healthier and lovelier when living on mission together.
